She reportedly learned from one of the men that they were “hired” by Cher. Marie Angela also stated she hadn’t heard from Elijah since August 2022 because he was “in lockdown at a treatment facility,” the location of which was undisclosed to her. The documents, filed in December 2022, indicated Elijah was expected to leave the facility by March 2023.
“I understand his family’s efforts to ensure he’s well, and I want what’s best for my husband,” Marie Angela said in the documents. It’s clear that while she respects Cher’s intentions, the situation has created a lot of tension and unanswered questions.
