Here’s a story that’s equal parts funny and endearing. Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos decided to up the ante on their relationship by trying something a little unconventional: a couples meditation session. But, as you might expect from this dynamic duo, things didn’t exactly go according to plan.

A Sound Bath Adventure Turned Hilarious

On a recent episode of Live With Kelly and Mark, Kelly, with a gleam in her eye, recounted the experience, saying, “We did a sound bath.” At 53, Kelly is no stranger to trying new things, and this was definitely one for the books. But what exactly is a sound bath? Well, it’s a form of meditation where sound waves are used to create a deeply relaxing and restorative atmosphere. Picture this: soothing sounds filling the room, helping you drift away from the chaos of daily life.

Mark's Perspective: The Unexpected Guest

Mark, 52, chimed in with his take on the experience. “And then she left because she had to get ready for dinner,” he teased, only for Kelly to quickly correct him. “No, I left because I was like, ‘I can’t do this anymore,’” she said with a laugh. Mark then described his own journey during the sound bath. As he lay there, he felt something unexpected land on his chest. “She put a bowl on my chest, and she did the sound,” he recounted. “I came out of that thing, and I was a whole new Mark.”

But Kelly’s experience was a little different. The Emmy-winning host revealed that Mark had fallen fast asleep—and was snoring loud enough to rival a freight train. “It was like Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice in Fantasia,” she joked, describing the scene. She was stuck, wondering how to politely extricate herself from the situation without disturbing the peace. Eventually, she leaned over and whispered to the instructor that she needed to leave. “We get done, and I knew I fell asleep for a little bit, but that was amazing,” Mark said, smiling despite the ribbing he was getting from his wife.

Of course, with all the snoring that went on, Kelly couldn’t resist teasing Mark. “He added some sounds of his own,” she joked, leaving the audience in stitches. It’s moments like these that remind us why we love this couple so much—they’re real, they’re funny, and they’re not afraid to laugh at themselves.

Stump Mark: Jane Krakowski Brings the Heat

After sharing their hilarious story, Kelly and Mark welcomed guest Jane Krakowski onto the show. They played a game of “Stump Mark,” where the Name That Tune host presented Mark with two scenarios, and he had to guess which one was true. Jane’s two scenarios were that she saw a stage production of Rent 20 times, and that she competed in a figure skating competition.

Mark, ever the confident one, took his guess—but ended up choosing incorrectly. Jane, 55, walked away victorious, earning an “I stumped Mark again” T-shirt. She had previously stumped him during her last appearance on the show. Mark was so flustered that he ended up walking off the set of Live. “He just left! He walked off the set!” Kelly yelled, only for Mark to eventually make his way back onto the stage. “Alright, Jane. That doesn’t count against my record?” he joked, lightening the mood once again.
